5 Day 'Out There' Photography Retreat
Information
This is a 5 day/6 night Retreat based in Blackall, CW Qld. It is $2540 per person with single room accommodation, unless otherwise arranged. This Retreat will be held at the Living Arts Centre (LAC) in the heart of Blackall. This building is unique in the fact the accommodation, workrooms, and the catering is all under the one roof. We will use this as our base as we venture out to do hands on shooting, learn new techniques, cover different lighting situations, and explore the surrounding area. Blackall is rich in history and characters - and we will be utilising these assets to practise shooting and expanding our photography knowledge.
Daily Schedule
Each morning will commence in the workroom at the LAC. Each day will include various activities to enable participants to practise different techniques hands on.
Topics covered.....setting up our cameras up, portraiture and natural lighting, action, shooting in manual, composition rules, DOF, astrophotography, sunrise and sunset shoots, shooting landscapes - this will be a day trip to Yaraka. When booking you will be required to fill out a questionnaire so I may gauge topics participants are interested in learning about, to include in the workshop. We will be eating at a different local venue each night, with a Welcome and Farewell Dinner being held at the LAC on the first and last nights. Meals during the day will be catered for.
